Taft PTA `22-23 Info Letter
A note from the members of the Taft Elementary PTA! Wondering if being part of the PTA is for you? Looking to become a PTA volunteer?
"A new school year is beginning! We hope that everyone had a lovely and relaxing
summer. The Taft PTA is ready and excited to organize fun events, fundraisers, and
field trips for this year!
The PTA is very important to Taft, but in order for us to succeed we need your help
and ideas. Contributing to our fundraisers and volunteering for our events is
essential in our success. We completely understand how busy everyone is, but
volunteering just a small amount of time is greatly appreciated, even though
becoming a member does not require any volunteer hours.
Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 10th at 7:00pm in the Taft
cafeteria. Please join us to learn more about our PTA and how you can get more
involved in your child’s school. All of our meetings and events are always kid
friendly.
Due to insurance requirements all volunteers and field trip chaperones must be
members of the PTA. Yearly membership is $10 for an individual membership. A
membership form is included on the reverse side of this flyer. We look forward to
seeing you throughout this school year!
Sincerely,
Taft PTA Executive Board
Amelia, Rina, Kelly, Nicole and Carolyn
