Washingtonville's Free Girls Lacrosse Winter Clinics

Registration for girls' lacrosse winter clinics is now open and available to 1st-6th graders. Play fun games, do drills, and get an overall glimpse of the game! email Erin Mahar for more information. Clinics will be from 7-8 p.m. starting January 23 until February 4. The second session will start on February 11 and end on February 20 from 7-8 p.m.

Third-grade students in Tracy Stadler’s class at Taft Elementary School recently presented their research projects to their peers. 

For the past week, students have been studying the culture, sports, food, music and traditions associated with the United States of America and Brazil.

The Making a Difference Awards recognize the many examples of individual teachers, aides, drivers, safety, and other district staff that are making a difference in the lives of our children throughout our buildings. On January 24, 2025 Superintendent Dr. Larry Washington, Board of Education President Sharon Williams and Vice President Robin White delivered the Making a Difference Awards to each of the recipients.
