Taft Elementary School blood drive honors retiring teaching assistant

On Tuesday, April 1st, Candice Mullady and the Taft Student Ambassadors (TSA) Club organized a successful Blood Drive. The event honored Adele Hastings, a teaching assistant at Taft who will be retiring this year and has helped run blood drives at Taft in the past.
TSA Club members played a vital role in the event by welcoming donors, assisting with registration, engaging in friendly conversations to ensure donors felt comfortable, providing snacks after donations, and entertaining any accompanying children with arts and crafts. Additionally, each donor received a handmade thank-you card as a token of appreciation for their support.
Thanks to our amazing community, Taft achieved their donor goal!
