Fourth-grade learns about electrical circuits and conductors

Lindsey Julian’s fourth-grade class has been learning about electrical circuits and conductors! In order to delve deeper into their lesson, students experimented with different materials they use every day to see if they were conductors of electricity. 

They tested these items using Makey Makeys and made circuits with Play-Doh, graphite, paper, oranges, water, rice, and even themselves. They were excited to learn that the human body can be a conductor of electricity!
